Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic EXPERIENCED Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing outstanding hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. The hours will range from 20-30hrs per week usually over 3 days with a great work/life balance to enjoy 4 days off! Applicants must have previous waiting staff experience and be able to work a mixture of weekdays, evenings and weekends on a rota basis! Excellent Tips!

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently. Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary basics is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to perform basic maths for handling transactions accurately. A passion for guest services and a commitment to providing high-quality hospitality. Experience in upselling techniques is beneficial.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.50-12.60 per hour
