Duties

Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalised service throughout their visit Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or bar staff Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are maintained Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety regulations Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting tables and clearing plates Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions Good understanding of guest services and the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours A positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent communication skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
