We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch hospitality. A passion for food and an understanding of food safety practices are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring that all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are presented beautifully and meet the establishment's standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality meals.
Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service in various settings.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
Excellent hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with guests and team members.
Bartending skills would be beneficial for serving drinks efficiently when required.
