As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat customers promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any customer needs or concerns. Process payments accurately and efficiently while providing change when necessary. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 45 per week
