A lovingly restored Grade II listed Georgian manor house on a 500-acre estate in the Devon countryside, with uninterrupted views of the rolling hills and fields, acres of gardens, farmland and woodland, and walks to explore.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Waiting Staff to join our team at Shilstone House. Your main responsibility is to ensure that guests have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations, to the paying of the bill.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat customers warmly Take food and drink orders accurately Serve meals and beverages promptly Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally Process payments and issue receipts Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas Follow hygiene and safety regulations Work effectively with kitchen and team members

Skills & Experience:

1-2 years' experience in a busy restaurant (preferred but not essential) Team player who communicates well with all colleagues Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy Sense of urgency Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Have a genuine passion for food and beverage

Additional Information:

Your own transport is essential as we are not on any bus routes

Pay & Benefits:
