Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Handle catering orders and special events, providing excellent service to large groups. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest queries effectively. Process payments accurately and efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Uphold the restaurant's policies regarding health, safety, and hygiene at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Experience in catering or barista roles would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure. A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A team player who can also work independently when necessary.
