Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant, family owned, restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Pay

Pay is at minimum wage for your age but is topped up considerably by a generous service charge run by a TRONC system. This is shared 100% amongst team members who worked only.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal. Provide an experience, nothing short of excellent at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members alike.
