You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience in our establishment.

You must be over 18 as this job entails dealing with alcohol.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Assist with food preparation as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Manage time effectively to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in guest services, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding menu items and preparation processes. Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Rate of pay would be discussed on interview and is based on age range and professional experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
