Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing top-notch hospitality and ensuring that all dining needs are met. Your ability to engage with guests, manage time efficiently, and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly. Serve food and beverages to guests while ensuring their satisfaction throughout the meal. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell additional items when appropriate to enhance the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Great understanding of POS and till systems, ensuring orders and payments are handled quickly and accurately. Confident in managing bookings and maximising table availability, ensuring a smooth flow of service and no customers turned away unnecessarily. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables simultaneously. Proven ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly attitude. Experience in upselling techniques is advantageous. Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 25 per week
