Overview

We have a rare and exciting opportunity here at the Swanholme. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as Waiting Staff.

Part-time or Full-Time. (Rota can be flexible to meet requirements)

In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your passion for hospitality and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant table service experience is essential; this is a fast paced work environment a passion for hospitality is key

High Tip Earning potential.

Knowledge of food safety practices and basic culinary skills are advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanour. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
