We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a bustling restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service while maintaining food safety standards and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Handle cash and process payments accurately, utilising basic maths skills as required. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and guest service expectations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality. A proactive attitude towards helping guests and colleagues alike. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
