Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent guest services, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation. Your ability to upsell menu items and manage your time effectively will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance the dining experience. Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing assistance as needed. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety standards is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members.
