Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience through attentive service, culinary knowledge, and effective time management.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders while offering recommendations and upselling menu items. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests' tables. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle payments accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are utilised for cash handling. Provide assistance to guests throughout their dining experience, demonstrating excellent hospitality skills.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong guest services skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Basic culinary knowledge is an advantage, along with an understanding of food preparation processes. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive in helping others when needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
