Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and possess a strong understanding of restaurant operations. Duties

Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, stations, and dining spaces Handle guest queries professionally, providing excellent guest services and resolving issues promptly Process payments accurately using the POS system and thank guests for their patronage

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately Experience with guest services, upselling, and creating a welcoming atmosphere will be highly regarded
