Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Waiting On/Bar Staff to join our friendly team. As a key member of staff you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your role will involve not only serving food and drinks but also engaging with customers to enhance their experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Waitressing duties, taking food orders, delivering food, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant areas at all times, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Manage time effectively during shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Team player, ability to adapt to an existing successful team. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Previous bar experience is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable personality. Ability to work under pressure. Job Type: Temp to perm

Pay: 12.21-14.42 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Experience:

Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
