Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Provide attentive guest service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Clear tables and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area in accordance with food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively. Good communication skills, with an emphasis on guest services and upselling techniques. Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
