Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality. Manage time effectively to ensure all tables receive prompt attention throughout their meal.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and teamwork.
