We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our small vibrant team. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers, providing excellent guest services and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Assist with food preparation, including cakes scones and light snacks, while following proper food handling procedures. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills for accurate order processing. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management. Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, striving to resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. A friendly demeanour with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members alike.
