We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation. You will be the face of our restaurant, creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering positive guest relations.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions to encourage upselling. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a helpful attitude. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Maintain an organised dining area by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests. Perform basic maths calculations for order totals when processing payments.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services. Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Basic maths skills for accurate billing and handling cash transactions. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience for guests. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with guests and team members.
