Waiter/Server Vacancy at Portway Steakhouse & Cafe

We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Waiter/Server to join our team at Portway House Cafe. The role is essential in delivering exceptional service and ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly welcome and seat guests, presenting them with the menu while offering insights into daily specials and recommendations. Accurately take orders and liaise with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and correct preparation of meals. Serve meals and beverages to guests, ensuring all requests are met with attention and care, and addressing any issues to maintain satisfaction. Handle bill payments and ensure the dining and service areas are clean and well-organised.
Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a waiter or server, ideally within a steakhouse or similar quality dining environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of providing a friendly and efficient service. A good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, even under pressure, while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor. A genuine passion for delivering top-tier customer service and a keen interest in the hospitality sector.
