Waiter / Waitress

to join our welcoming front-of-house team.

Sophie's Steakhouse is a New York inspired neighbourhood restaurant serving dry aged steaks and 10oz Martinis! As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Welcoming guests and making them feel at home from the moment they arrive Taking food and drink orders confidently and accurately Food and wine knowledge: Have a good understanding of ingredients and preparation methods to provide recommendations and answer customer queries. Delivering attentive, personable service throughout the guest journey Working closely and collaboratively with your team and the kitchen to ensure seamless service Creating a positive atmosphere on the floor while maintaining high standards Handling guest requests with care and professionalism

What we're looking for:

A warm, outgoing personality and a genuine passion for hospitality Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and supporting their colleagues Ability to stay calm, organised, and friendly in a fast-paced environment Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. Previous waiting experience is a bonus, but not essential -- attitude matters most

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 35 per week
