Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities, providing recommendations when appropriate.
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation.
Assist with setting tables, refilling drinks, and clearing used dishes promptly.
Provide attentive guest services, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including table settings and surrounding environment.
Manage multiple tables effectively during busy periods through excellent time management skills.
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential
Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is desirable.
Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact courteously with guests and team members alike.
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately.
