Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at The Elm Tree Inn in Elm near Wisbech as a Restaurant and Bar Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Duties:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Process payments accurately using POS systems
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and restaurant operations is a plus
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
