Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and demonstrate exceptional guest service skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing prompt and attentive service, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items when appropriate.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Handle payments accurately and efficiently, providing guests with their bills upon request.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong upselling skills to enhance guest experience and drive sales. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining composure under pressure. A genuine desire to help others, ensuring all guests feel valued and well cared for during their visit.
