Job Summary

As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing recommendations to enhance their meal.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle cash and process payments accurately.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a serving role. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively. Ability to upsell menu items through effective communication and persuasion techniques. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests and team members.
