Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

Skills

Strong hospitality background with previous restaurant or bar experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide outstanding guest services, creating memorable experiences for patrons. Proficient in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience in preparing mocktails and desserts.
