Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent guest service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring patrons have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation and presentation when required Upsell drinks and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol Provide exceptional guest services, addressing customer needs promptly and professionally Restock supplies and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operation during shifts Support colleagues in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable Familiarity with serving techniques, guest services, and upselling strategies will be advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is a plus but not essential Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are vital for delivering outstanding guest experiences

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
