Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation at all times. Provide exceptional guest services by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management. Monitor stock levels of food supplies and report any shortages or issues to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated when required. Kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
