Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as required Upsell drinks and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system effectively Provide excellent guest services by engaging courteously with patrons and addressing any queries or concerns Monitor guest behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to licensing laws

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of beverages Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Experience in food preparation or culinary activities is advantageous Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods Guest service orientation with a proactive approach to upselling and enhancing customer experience Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential
