Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and accurately, adhering to all food safety and licensing regulations Take orders from guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit Prepare basic garnishes and assist with food preparation when required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils Upsell drinks and promotional offers to maximise sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behaviour and refusing service when necessary Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts Provide excellent guest services, addressing customer needs promptly and courteously

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with knowledge of serving techniques Understanding of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills Strong organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently Good numeracy skills for handling cash transactions and basic calculations Experience with kitchen or culinary tasks is advantageous Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members Ability to upsell products confidently to enhance guest experience and sales Guest-focused attitude with a friendly, approachable demeanour Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of service
