Duties

Serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while adhering to licensing laws. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and utensils. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and enhance their experience. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service quality.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing transactions and managing tabs. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the workplace culture.

Pay: 12.45-13.00 per hour
