Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only serving drinks but also engaging with customers to enhance their experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any queries or concerns. Upsell menu items and special promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods. Manage cash transactions accurately, using basic math skills for processing payments. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible serving practices.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide outstanding guest services, creating memorable experiences for patrons. Experience in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience is an advantage.
