Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will play a crucial role in upselling our beverages and food offerings, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes. Engage with guests to provide outstanding service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Upsell food and drink items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation as required, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations within the bar and restaurant environment. Stay informed about menu items and specials to effectively assist guests with their choices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary practices is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A proactive attitude towards helping colleagues and guests alike. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
