Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Bar Staff to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in food service and customer relations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding service in a fine dining or nightclub setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper sanitation practices. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dining area as needed. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with health standards. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightlife environments. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation standards, and safety regulations within the food industry. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
