Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining food safety standards. Duties - Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. - Take accurate food and drink orders while demonstrating knowledge of the menu, including daily specials. - Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximise sales opportunities. - Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring that all orders are presented beautifully and accurately. - Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, responding promptly to any requests or concerns. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. - Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. - Assist with any additional tasks as required to support the restaurant operations. Qualifications - Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. - Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting. - Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. - Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and teamwork. - A genuine desire to help others and create memorable dining experiences for guests. - Knowledge of culinary practices is advantageous but not mandatory. - A positive attitude, resilience under pressure, and an eagerness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
