We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively hospitality environment. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. This paid position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and professionally to guests at the bar and tables Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar team promptly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation and presentation when required, supporting the culinary team as needed Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage tabs effectively Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, including food safety standards Provide friendly, attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to enhance guest experiences Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately Experience in guest services, upselling, and working within a team environment is preferred Ability to work flexibly during evenings, weekends, or peak hours as required
