We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent guest service in a lively, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, enjoy working with people, and possess a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Duties

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests at the bar and tables Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils Assist with food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system Monitor guest behaviour to ensure a safe environment and address any issues promptly Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Experience with serving in a bar or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required
