Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food preparation and service activities. Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and handle cash or card transactions with precision. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers politely and promptly addressing any requests or concerns. Keep the work area clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar food service role is required. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is advantageous. Experience in

serving

customers, handling cash transactions, and basic

food preparation

skills are desirable. Familiarity with

basic maths

for handling payments accurately is beneficial. Strong

time management

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
