Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Handle customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly. Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required. Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using cash or card systems. Restock supplies as needed to ensure the smooth running of the cafe during shifts. Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, promoting products and specials when appropriate.

Experience

Previous

barista experience

is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is advantageous. Experience in

serving

customers in a fast-paced environment helps ensure excellent service delivery. Basic skills in

food preparation

are beneficial for supporting kitchen tasks when necessary. Good

time management

skills are essential to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Ability to perform

basic maths

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
