Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver prompt service to ensure a positive dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws at all times. Upsell premium beverages and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently. Assist with food preparation or service when required, supporting overall restaurant operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards within the bar area. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest services during busy periods.

Experience

Proven experience in hospitality, particularly within a restaurant or bar setting. Familiarity with serving techniques, cocktail mixing, and beverage presentation. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently. Ability to provide exceptional guest services, creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. Experience in upselling drinks or promoting specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance.
