Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a positive work environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing strong hospitality skills. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary experience is advantageous. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong guest service orientation with the ability to build rapport with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. A willingness to learn and adapt in a continually changing environment is essential.
