Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety and beverage preparation. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional service. Your role will involve not only mixing drinks but also upselling menu items and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and responding to their needs promptly. Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring that all items meet quality standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash register.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bartending or hospitality role is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and an interest in food preparation is advantageous. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.

Pay: 12.00-14.50 per hour
