As an employer, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, will be open and close the restaurant ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness and organisation at the restaurant area while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and responding to their needs promptly. Upsell drinks and food items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations within the establishment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality role is a must. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A keen interest in mixology and willingness to learn about new drinks and trends. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
