Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards in food preparation. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items are prepared to the highest standards. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for orders.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing strong hospitality skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and kitchen operations is advantageous. Experience in serving or culinary roles will be beneficial for this position. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude towards guest services, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
