Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic mature Waitress/waiter who will be serving, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment , experience is preferred

Duties

Assist with food preparation and presentation for various events and functions. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a high level of service at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Support the catering team in setting up and dismantling event spaces as required. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events. Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and stock control.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in food preparation and serving is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience would be beneficial. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required.
