Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hard-working individual to join our team at our busy fish and chips shop. As a Shop Assistant, you will be the face of our business--serving customers, preparing orders, and helping keep the shop clean and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and serve customers in a polite and efficient manner Take food orders and handle payments (cash/card) Help with basic food preparation and packaging Keep the counter and dining area clean and tidy Follow hygiene and safety standards
Requirements:
Good communication and people skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy times Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus--but not essential Must be punctual, reliable, and presentable
