Overview


We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Front of House team member to provide exceptional guest service in a dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, managing guest relations, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Prior experience with POS systems and food industry standards is preferred. Responsibilities



Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items and specials Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours

Qualifications



Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or serving experience is advantageous Strong communication skills and a positive attitude to foster guest relations and team collaboration
