Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests in a fine dining or nightclub setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and building rapport to enhance their experience. Upsell drinks and menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service, maintaining effective communication with the culinary team. Assist with bussing tables and supporting host/host duties as needed during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or nightclub environment is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are required. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed by the establishment.
