Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks in the restaurant environment. Your ability to upsell menu items and maintain high standards of food safety and hospitality will contribute significantly to our guests' satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a clean and organised dining area. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to culinary standards and food safety regulations. Assist with a cleaning Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and potential allergens, to provide informed recommendations to guests. Perform basic maths for processing payments accurately and efficiently.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Experience in food preparation is advantageous, along with knowledge of culinary techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not essential.

Saturday 8am -2pm

Sunday 2-7pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 33 per week
