Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customers have an enjoyable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience Ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times during service Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Clear tables and reset areas to maintain cleanliness and organisation Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service quality Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with food safety standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety protocols and basic food preparation skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately Experience in guest services or customer care roles is desirable Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts as required A professional attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service and creating memorable dining experiences

Pay: 12.21-15.77 per hour
